I am going to a session tomorrow morning where I am going to knock off a few req. for the Communications mb. What should I teach for req 6.
it is to teach a skill. I dont know what to teach!! please advise...
already thought of knots, not a possibility

Knots,How to build a fire, Pitching a two man tent correctly, Packing a back pack,Sharpening a knife or axe. All skills you should know by now.

Kevin taught fire building. He has taught this at both training for boys and was the instructor when one group back out on us when we did our Outdoor leader training. I was honored he was ask and he received rave reviews from people that took his part of the training.
But boys can teach all kind of skills. Tent pitching, lashing, hiking skills, tracking, leave no trace would be a wonderful skill to teach.

Remember that the skill being taught does not HAVE to be scout related. My younger son taught a group how to change a bike tire.

One of the traditional responsibilities of older Scouts is to teach and mentor younger Scouts. Find a Scout Skill you enjoy and know well. It will help younger Scouts, your troop and yourself at the same time.
