hello, I understand you are using phpbb forums, well, with the "private moderator forums" go to permissions, and do this:

that'll make sure only the site staff can see those forums, it stops the public from being annoyed at seeing those forums appear.
just a suggestion. sorry if the board doesn't allow picture posting.

Actually, they were hidden on the other board. I decided to make them visible here.

really? oh, I seem to like them better invisible, that is how I do it on my forum site.

EDIT: also, when the red "new message" comes up, it is annoying because it makes you excited, then you realize that you can't get in.
