............just kidding!I went to the Goodwill to find some things for a costume and instead found a new pair of scout shorts.....I was going to go to scout shop and drop $35 but instead paid $3.50

There are three thrift stores close to me. I check them on a regular basis to see if they have uniforms. I normally can pick up kids pants or shirts for from $1.99 to $2.99 each. I will pick up any they have. Because there is always a Cub or Scout than can use them. I got my last pair of pants for me for $3.99 and they still had the tags on them.

If you are patient and check periodically, you can always find some great buys.

Most of the uniforms in our family have come from Goodwill and have been in Very Good to Excellent condition. Since my son was a Tiger Cub 8 years ago.

Though I do not use EBey, that is another great source if you don't mind gently used.

EBAY is another great option. When one of my son's grew out of his shirt (and I had already purchased several since he began in Cubs) we bought one on EBAY for a few bucks.
