I have been assigned the Round Robin Topic: Stoves, Lanterns and Fire Safety.
I've got most of my material and equipment together, however, there is one item I just realized I didn't have and can't seem to find it via Google.
With regard to lighting charcoal it states: Use of a charcoal starter such as the BSA No. 01170, which will light a load of charcoal quickly with a single sheet of paper, is recommended over commercial lighter fluids for overall safety and ease of use.
I am thinking that the BSA No. 01170 is a metal cannister in which a piece of paper is placed at the bottom and charcoal is stacked on top. I have a commercial one of these and I have used No. 10 Cans with the appropriate holes at the bottom to do this.
Am I correct?
