Ideas?

Postby Hubert » Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:55 pm

Any ideas of places where I could look at Eagle CoH at? I just got the book but want to kind of make my own. So if anybody has a good idea on what they had work, please let me know!

Thanks.

Best one I've ever been to was in the Scout's church. Very family-oriented, comfortable, and personal.

The last two I've attended (one was last night) were for two brothers who did their projects at their church, so it made sense to have it in the chapel there.

We have had a couple of our recent Eagles who have elected to have the ceremony in their home church rather than the Chartered Organization church. And I agree that it works well. That way there are others that know the Youth in his church that are more likely to attend and show support.

Most others have theirs at the Chartered Organization (church).

I haven't had one yet, but I have been told of ones that hold the ceremony outdoors at a favorite camp.

Whatever works for you should be great.

Pipestone,
I know I still need to pass. But I would like to get a jump on things and get some ideas thrown down. lol. Plus, if I go in there with confidence and my head held high, I know I will not fail.

Thanks everyone for the ideas!

I know you are, I was confident (until I got to my EBOR :D )....................Just wait, hubert, this BOR will change your life. Take in all of the advice that those on your BOR give you, they (should) have a TON of experience.

P.S.: Still say you should check out your charter area. Mine's at my charter church next week (1/21/08)
