Any suggestions for the "educational" reference letter for homeschooled scouts?

How about a librarian? Could also be a religious education teacher.

Also I understand a number of families that homeschool are in a consortium where different parents teach different subjects depending on their expertise. So if that is what you do, one of the scouts other teachers could suffice.

We're looking for someone who can speak to the scout's Eagle Scout attributes.

How about one of the Merit Badge Counselors that you worked closely with? Or a church leader (after all, you're getting an education there)?

I think there is some BSA material that says something on this. Use a couch, music instructor, etc.

Keep in mind that the references are suggested to be from an educational leader, an employer and a religious leader, but this is not required if they do not have these.

A younger boy will not have an empolyer and an older boy may not either. Not all boys have a religious leader who would fit the bill.
