Paperwork came in

Postby Hubert » Tue Feb 26, 2008 10:32 pm

I am now offically and Eagle Scout! This is amazing, it has taken me twelve years, and through all the descrimination, put-downs, and all the other hardships, I have done it, I have made it to the summit.

When I was in Tigers, I was told that only one on ten Tigers ever make Eagle, and that very few who start later make it, as soon as I was told that, I said this to myself;

"I want to be that ONE who does it."

Here I am today, getting my paperwork, confirming the rank. Thank you to everyone who has helped me in my time, and to all of you on here, for the help and encouragement I have recieved here. THANK YOU!!!

Congrats to you Hubert, now you know what it takes to climb the summit and can help others for the rest of your life try to do the same.

Great job...I know you've been waiting. It's a mystery what National does that takes so long. Anyway now we won't have to go back and redo all the BORs you did at summer camp. :lol: :lol: :lol: (just kidding)

Don't think so pipestone. The comment related to Hubert telling us in another forum area about some of his BORs being done with out the proper makeup. You only had one post in that subject about you having to wait 3 mos for your EBOR because they told you you needed to mature. You both made it so enjoy your accomplishment.

:o hmmm...well Hub, looks like you went through just as tough a journey! Congrats and when you're one of maybe 4-5 PFCs walking your Graduation (out of 50-60) you can remember it was because of your tough journey to the summit!
