Any chance of scanning it so we can see what it looks like?

That's good. I'm still waiting to hear anything. I guess I'm not considered good enough to be jamboree staff this time around.

Notification all depends upon where you are assigned. Some positions Like National Staffing may take a while. Regional Positions like Sub camp and Acton Centers notify faster.

I will Post this again just in case some do not understand the procedure
Step 1 You apply for a position on Staff
Step 2 Your Council Must Approve you
Step 3 After Approval goes back to National For Assignment. They will try to assign you by your choice order.
Step 4 Your Name then 1. Stays at National for a National Position or 2 on to your Region for a Region Assignment.
Step 5 Region then gives your name to whom ever is in charge of that position. Action centers go to the Region Professional and the Region Volunteer in charge of the Action Center for assignment plus they will discuss your position with the immediate supervisor of that position. Like I am the Rapplling Director for the Action Center.
Step 5 National the same thing happens but on a bigger scale so it take longer.
Step 6 Your Council is contacted Again to check to see if they feel you can physically do the position.
Step 7 You get a letter offering you the position which you must sign and return to national.
Step 8 You get your first patch.

I got my patch today! My son has also decided to apply for a youth staff position, since he will be 20 at the time of the Jamboree. I will be working in a trading post somewhere!

I applied for Trading Post. I worked there at the 2001 Jamboree, so I figured I would go back and give it another try.
