Suggestions for ECOH locations

#1 passed his EBOR. Unfortunately, our church is not available for any of the dates the ECOH can be held. Our Scout meeting location is not to his liking, and the Council office is 90 minutes away (too far for the guests).

He wants it pretty formal, so parks are out (weather here is unpredictable, anyway). Anyone have any good suggestions for locations?

If the church is not available, is there a fellowship hall, chapel or school auditorium that is?

Scout Camp (My son did his at camp)
I was just at one at a restaurant. in the party room

How about a Local Civic Center, Library auditorium or large conference room, or maybe a ARC large conference room.

VFW or American Legion hall? i have no idea if they would allow this...

Football is not in season, ask the SeaHawks to lend you their stadium.

How about the local community college, fire hall, or town court house? Check with members of your chartered organization who may have a suggestion, or troop members who may be members at a country club or recreation park/club that may have a facility to use. Ask other troops in your area and ask them what props thay may have you can borrow to enhance the ceremony. Good luck and congrats!

Where exactly do you live? I might have some ideas, but where are you at? If Council is 90 minutes away, you must be north of Seattle or on the Peninsula.
