Try this... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=BSA+trainer's+EDGE

I saw several... one in IL, NC, NJ, MN and even two (in separate Councils) in PA.

Let us know if you find one close to home.

The two in PA are already past. The one in my council was cancelled.

Many of the courses showing up on the Google search are already past the dates but the Councils never pulled the old data from the websites. I think I am going to travel to Minnesota
but I am still looking for a course closer to home. $500 in travel expenses for a one day course is a little high at this time for me.

I have even asked my Area councils if they have one coming up in the fall or would be willing to hold a course and reach out to the rest of the Area Councils and share staff and students with a central location. All I got was "we'll see."

What is killing me is that I have three new crews with leaders asking for training and I am not trained to present the VLST course. We have told them to take everything they can on-line so at least they have a basic understanding.

TW,

Get a hold of your Council training chair. Let them know that this is holding up the training for these leaders. They should just work with you on how they want each segment presented. IMHO,to wait till you get EDGE is not reasonable. If you have done any type of presentations you should be eligible to teach the course. Then go get EDGE and teach it again next year.
