Artistic Assistance Requested

The above image is the same one displayed in the upper left hand corner of each page of the forums. I would like to replace that image with one dedicated to this web site but I have very little talent in graphical images. If anyone would like to create a new logo for these forums, it needs to be the same size as the one above (200 x 91 pixels) and have a similar color scheme so that it will match the color scheme of the forums. Any help is appreciated :)

Edit: Changed the address location to show the original logo.

It will be uploaded shortly. I didnt know what your motto was at the time so I put one that I saw in an earlier thread. I can change it at a later time if wanted.[/img]

I like the "Scouters helping Scouters" part....sounds like that exactly what Scouts are supposed to be... Helpful!

I also took a particular interest in that one.

I didnt come up with it. It was actually found on this site when they were looking for a slogan.

Waiting for the official vote

Let me know if you want more done. I can see what I can do for you. If you EVER need graphics for any part of your site, let me know and I'll see what happens :)

I still like the first "Scouters helping Scouters" logo... The shadowing makes the words hard to read...

Why didn't the same person who designed that great opening banner on mertibadge.com design the logo for here?

Anyway, I cut and pasted and came up with these.

I hope you like them.

This was an early attempt which didn't work because I didn't consider the size and shape. I didn't upload it earlier but then I thought maybe you might have a use for it so here it is.

I like the green Scouters helping Scouters. The red one looks strange.

Have you decided which one you're going to use? Just curious.

Ok, I downloaded all the images today and I'm going to start using them one at a time in the order in which they were received. I'll give each about a week. Feel free to comment. If you're concerned about embarrassing one of the artists, drop me an email.

Please note that the JPGs had to be converted to GIFs and some of the conversions look lousy. I may be able to make these look better.

I can also redo them with the software I have. I only have like three different imaging softwares on my computer. I know one of them can be saved as GIF files.

The software at the house is much better than the software at work. That one cleaned up much better now.
