Wood Badge SR-1040 Starts Friday Morning!!!

Postby mt_goodrich » Wed Apr 07, 2010 10:23 pm

Once again, I am staffing a Wood Badge course. I was originally asked to be an Assistant Quartermaster; however, we had three Troop Guides back out because of various issues and I was asked if I wouldn't mind being a Troop Guide again. Heck no...I don't mind!!!! I loved being a TG last summer and tonight my last person received their beads from that course (SR-969).

Last summer was a full week-long course (six straight days). This will be the traditional two weekend course.

We have a full course (48 participants) and had five on the waiting list.

I'll head out to Sid Richardson Scout Ranch tomorrow afternoon to help finish with the set up and then we'll have our staff dinner.

Have fun! I can't wait to become a staffer myself.
