Eagle or Not Eagle

Update:

As a side note, I also got a printout of the advancement from Council and it's a mess. We have 2 Eagle scouts that should not be Eagle scouts according to the records (merit badge dates don't match BoR dates, missing ranks, etc). Fortunately, I've got everything entered into TroopMaster, so it's catching all of the errors. We'll have to correct those records. Le sigh...

That's one that should definitely never happen since all that should heve been caught when the Eagle Application was processed through Council and National.

So, the Council records show two boys as Eagle Scouts that your Troopmaster data says NO WAY, NO HOW????

Where they really awarded the rank with ceremonies etc....??????

Is it that or the reverse? Two scouts the troop says that are Eagle that BSA doesn't think are Eagle. That I could sadly understand with a troop that has paperwork or adult leader issues.

They've been awarded with ceremonies, but the data from council does not make sense. It's most likely just a paperwork issue, but I'd like to get it corrected anyway. I know the awards can't be taken away, but somehow it got through. I gave examples in the other thread, but they included things like ranks awarded before qualifying merit badges were earned and ranks missing altogether. I'm hoping there's a missing advancement report somewhere. Maybe it was submitted with the Eagle app and then not put into ScoutNet? I'm guessing here.
