AoL is not the only award earned as a Cub Scout that can be worn as an adult. The Youth Religious Award knot, and knots earned for heroism earned by Cub Scouts also qualify.

A Cub/Webelos Scout may earn (or be awarded) and wear the following awards (knots) during and after his time in Cub Scouting:

  • Arrow of Light (for Webelos, of course)...
    • "Award" is worn on youth uniforms;
    • "Knot" is worn on adult uniforms.
  • Youth Religious Award, and
  • James E. West Fellowship Award
  • Medal of Merit
  • Heroism Award, and
  • Honor Medal
