Any news on the release date of Search and Rescue merit badge?

It's August 13th, any updates or requirements been released yet?

I heard from BSA this afternoon.

They are all set for posting information on Monday, August 20th.
The NDC/Supply is shipping to Scout Shops today and they should begin being put out on Scout Shelves on Monday August. 20th.

I'll be posting the requirements on the USSSP once BSA makes the announcement, and should have a worksheet ready by then as well.

Not to beat a dead horse (not much at least.) But I don't find the Chess MB any more out of place than the Indian Lore or Basketry MBs. All three of which my troop has shown interest in. Quite a lot of interest in Chess, actually.

*shrug*

My biggest problem is finding counselors for the new MBs.
