Hey, I just spent 70+ dollars are the local REI

For now, I'll just list what I got, but hopefully tonite, I'll be able to upload some pictures of the stuff. Now I just want to go climbing already!

Black Diamond Momentum AL harness (New design)
Black Diamond Super 8 figure eight rappel/ belay device
Black Diamond Quicksilver2 Screwgate carabiner (locking)

I intend to buy more carabiners as money allows so I have them.

I already own a Black Diamond Half Dome helmet and a pair of Franklin Climbing gloves.

There's lots of padding on that harness:)

And the whole thing can be wrapped around, not climbed into like a pair of pants.

You might want to consider an ATC. I like them a heck of a lot better then the 8 for belaying. Use the 8 to rap of course.

Oh yeah, and that is a beautiful harness.

I forget, did you have a helmet?

When I found that harness, I decided I might as well stick with Black Diamond stuff.

I had already been given the helmet and the gloves I have are also related to Black Diamond too sort of.

they make decent stuff. Though I didn't get my rope from them. I really tend to like their harnesses. The other stuff I shop around.
