I am going to invest $37.00 in the Coleman Coffee maker and see how well it works. I will have my French press with me just in case.
If all goes to plan every morning I will stand in the Gateway singing " You Can Go But Be Back Soon" from the musical Oliver.
I will be the Scoutmaster for Troop 412.
The event itself is the easy part!!
I spent 3 Hours yesterday doing swim tests.(It was 90 degrees by the pool).
The guy from the Red Cross canceled out on me twice.
I am starting to think that very few parents can read.
I now get Christmas cards from the Pizza Fund raising outfit.
Have spent a really great weekend with our Junior Leadership Team.
Every week the comings and goings of the Equipment Truck seem to change.
We still have two more weekends away with the Troop. They are a super nice bunch.
I do want to thank all the people who pay to attend the Jamboree and work. If you stop by we can share a cup of coffee.

I'll be there as well.

I will be heard by tens of thousands of guests and participants each day. :)

More details as jambo gets closer.

And it looks like my council has selected a CSP design I made. It has what we hope is a very tradeable feature.

I have visited 3 other National Jamborees and a World Jamboree. I also served as a First Assistant Scoutmaster in 1985.

We did too. Unfortunatley of the over 100 scouts invited to participate only one chose to. We gave him the $50 prize. But because it was a rather...how to say this politely...difficult design to repoduce well...the core elements were given to 4 companys to incorporate into a new design. Mine I am told was the only one to use all of the requested elements.

I tried to stay as close to the intention of the boy's design as I could. Trust me when the scout sees it he will be able to say it was his patch design, and that won't bother me at all.
