District Committee Patch -- With Unit Numerals?

Sorry, I don't have an Insignia Guide and need a quick answer.

I want one of my shirts to be for District functions.
Currently it has my troop numerals under the council flap.

Can I leave the red numerals on with the District Committee patch sewn below it?

I think the correct answer is probably NO, but taking the numerals off will leave a "scar" on the uniform sleeve.

No, as a district member you represent all units. The only District position that should wear unit numerals are he ones wearing Charter Organization Representative position of respondibility patches.

Your uniform should reflect the POR patch you are displaying. So with a district committee patch you should wear silver loop covers, and no unit afflilited patches such a s numerals, quality unit award, anniversary bars etc..
