Outdoor Leader Training.

Postby Lynda J » Tue Apr 26, 2005 10:49 am

Well I renewed my OLT training this past weekend. I have taken what we call 4 Winds. It is outdoor skills training that 4 districts get together and hold about 3 times a year. This is my 3rd time to take it and I think this was the best. I love training. And learn something new from each and everyone I retake. This fall I will be staffing this training. It sure was fun.
But boy was I tired when I got home Sunday evening. Got some great new ideas and saw some great new equipment.
your community is a tree. You are either a leaf that feeds it or mistletoe that suckes it dry. Be sure you are always a leaf.

Just call me rerun, haha. I'm going through one of my stages again...and retaking many Cub and Boy Scouter trainings. I just did a Cub class in your Council, and they were some nice Scouters! :)

I'm doing my Outdoor Leader Training for the second time in a couple of weeks. I'll report back then.
