I will be attending a Jamboree Meeting the 12th and 13th at the Hill. If anyone has any questions they want asked of the Royal high Muckity mucks let me know.

If you have not heard anything I can have someone check at national to see if your name has been entered yet. Also your council may have not sent it in. You never know.

Hey Wagion Guy,
What do you know about the Junior Staff sleeping and eating accommodations?
As you know my little darling is one of these.
I thought I'd ask here as others might want to know.

He will be in a sub camp. Probably #1 They have youth tents and Adult tents and they eat in the Subcamp. OK
Bikathlon and Action ALley Share the sub camp I think that is the mix.
I believe the AVC and the PVC are in the same sub camp

I have a Sub Camp Meeting tomorrow in Bedford Pa. I will post anything earth shattering that may come up. The ID question is one thing that needs answered.

Camp 4 Meeting April 9,2005
Here are some important things that came from this meeting.
1. All Medicals Must be turn in to national BEFORE MAY 1
2. All Staff Cars MUST be in Archer on Saturday due to the early arrival of troops. Sun Camp 4 has 44 of 50 arriving on Sunday
3. All lunches will be from the Kiosk No Lunches will be prepared in the Sub Camps
4. Any visitor OVER 16 must have a photo ID School ID’s are acceptable
5. ALL Participants Must have Photo ID’s A school, ID Drivers License Etc are accepted. National has suggested Running new Membership cards for all participants and Stapling a Picture on the back side then laminate them.
6. Geocaching will be a new thing. Some Company is donating $100,000.00 worth of GPS units for the Jamboree. Each Sub Camp will have a supply and must be checked out by a unit Leader by leaving their Drivers License. They will be programmed with way points that are For your sub camp. I get the feeling one per troop.
7. Dinner will NOT be Class A we will go straight to dinner from work if we wish.

I was in a Goodwill Thrift Shoppe with my son and found a pair of Scout Shorts. In the pocket were tickets from the 1993 Jamboree. Twentyfive cents I think. My son wasn't born until 1994. He thought it was neat!

Yes, they are in good shape. They have no value to me. My son thinks they are neat. Maybe he will want to sell them on ebay. Not bad for a pair of scout shorts for a buck.
