Same here in Cleveland. My troop always goes to camp on Father's Day.

Amazingly, as a Boy Scout my troop always left for summer camp on Father's Day too.

Actually here on long island most public schools still have school until June 24. So most long island summer camps and ones around here dont start until the first week in July. So we are going up to Onteora, our Councils summer camp, the week of July 3. Luckily I was done with school last week!

We leave Saturday. Customers are teasing me about taking my vacation and going camping. Sleeping in a tent with no electricity, air conditioning.
They all think I am crazy. But thats fine. I have always known I am crazy.

Hmmm.. sounds like my vacation too:)

Mine, though, will also include a tour of the United States Military Academy and possibly even a NASA building  but the NASA is still in the works.

well people I leave for summer camp vacation on July 10. I tell my scouts all 43-50 that are going to camp that if I have fun everbody has fun. If I have problems then everbody has problems also. I have had people look at me like I am crazy for taking a weeks vacation to spend with that many critters. but then again its a short trip.
