The application for the 50 miler and Historic Trails insignia specifically states "(NOTE: Embroidered and leather awards are not worn on uniforms but may be attached to tents, packs, blankets.)". The back of the sash and the temporary insignia position on the pocket are ON the uniform, so the patches should not be worn there. Similarly, the mile swim, scuba, etc. patches are specified for wear on swim trunks, not the uniform.Billiken wrote:I think I know, but please define the difference.Double Eagle wrote:The 50 Miler Award is an equipment decoration, not a temporary insignia.
