CONSERVATION AWARD

Just wondering why they don't have a square knot for the
conservation award. I realize that this award is a lot easier
to achieve than the Hornaday award which has a square knot for
adult members to wear.

I guess the award could be worn on the right pocket? not sure
since it is a youth award.

The reason I put this on here is because I've seen several
adults over the years wearing the World Conservation Award
sewn above the left pocket beside the World Crest which is
incorrect. It should be worn on the Right Pocket.

Why World Conservation does not have its own square knot....

Hey I was reading about your question and remembered when I thought about that. I earned the award two weeks ago after summer camp. The reason the World Conservation award is not presented as a square knot once becoming an adult leader is because that it is a temporary badge to be worn as stated at http://www.usscouts.org/usscouts/advanc ... dcons.html.
Glad to be of service!
