Next year, I am going to take these merit badges:

Whitewater
Waterskiing
Motorboating
Leatherwork
Camping*

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am only taking one Eagle-required merit badge because I only have one left so my friends and myself want to have the best summer camp yet by taking all of the awesome merit badges! We are also considering possibly Fishing merit badge?!

Postby Paintball4Life » Tue Jul 26, 2005 1:38 pm

I'm taking Enviromental Science, Fish and Wildlife Management and Fishing. Oh and quick question how many merit badge sessions does your camp have cause at Camp Horseshoe we only have four merit badge periods and some of them are double periods.

I did what Rick Tyler did, "Snoozing, Strolling, Squint-Shooting, and Napping". My son took Swimming, Personal Fitness, Environmental Science, Motorboating, Fishing and completed Firecrafter. Seven of the eight troop members that went to camp worked on various levels of Firecrafter in addition to 4-5 MB's. They were all very busy into the night. I was impressed with how hard they worked and were mostly self motivated. Although I actually think they could have used a little more free time.
