Television Merit Badge

1) Prepare a 100 word speech about why the term "mindless entertainment" is wrongfully misused when talking about TV. Present the speech to your troop.

2) Name two superheroes that can fly. Name one superhero who is really fast. Name one superhero who acts like a bat (Hint: He has a Batmobile!!). Any answers that involve Teen Titans or Captain Planet do not count!

3) Name 3 Disney movies and 5 characters that you would most likely see at Disney World and/or Disney Land.

4) Explain in your own words why a plasma television set with surround sound is better to watch the Super Bowl with than a standard 1965 Black and White television set with a broken antenna.

5) Name 10 fast food restaurants that have commercials.

6) Earn your READING merit badge.

This must be the easiest merit badge ever! Oh ya! Requirement 6 is OPTIONAL! But... Common Sense --- any person who would earn this merit badge probably needs to earn reading merit badge soon! Just kidding! Tell me what you people think about my brainstorm. Glad to be of service!
