Worksheets on the wiki....

Postby RWSmith » Wed Mar 19, 2008 7:19 pm

Thanks to Craig Lincoln, we now have about 125 (soon to be 200) feature-packed Advancement-related Worksheets" on the wiki.
  • They are ALL current, and will be kept current;
  • They have bonus hyperlinks to websites to aid in the Scout's or MBC's efforts; and
  • The standards for the worksheets have been agreed upon and, for lack of a better word, "approved" for use on the wiki by Optimist, Paul, Craig and myself.
(Also, FYI, the worksheets are also up on USScouts.Org.)

How to add to the resources?

Postby Susanhare » Fri Mar 21, 2008 12:41 pm

I created a merit badge outline and presentation for Soil&Water Consv. Merit Badge counselors. I've used the worksheets and other resources on meritbadge.net and would like to give back by sharing my outline & presentation. Is there somewhere I can upload the file?

THe planned worksheets are now completed. Once meritbadge.org is back up I will post the last few. The full set is also hosted at www.usscouts.org.

The worksheets include:
* Merit Badge Worksheets
* Webelos Activity Badge (Pins) Worksheets
* Cub Scout Academics and Sports (Belt Loops & Pins) Worksheets

None of the new worksheets have any text that is purposely altered. All text should be exactly the 2008 BSA requirements.

In addition each worksheet includes:
* Links to a variety of external links.
* Over half have links to free online video lessons to teach skills.
* Graph paper is included as needed.
* All required blank maps, charts, and tables are included.
* Any required BSA checklists are at the end of the worksheets.

My email is at the top of each worksheet if you have suggestions or comments.
