Configuration Changes

I just made some configuration changes that should have two different positive affects on the wiki:

1. Thumbnailing should improve. Exactly how I'm not sure but I believe it will be in the quality of the thumbnail image. Also, whether or not it will affect previously thumbnailed images I'm not sure either. Please report anything you notice.
   
2. Page loading speeds should improve. This may or may not be noticible. If you do notice anything, please report it.

I was actually timing random page-loading times last night... averaging out to be roughly 20 seconds.

This morning, random pages are loading in two to three seconds... a dramatic improvement.

I'll try again during higher bandwidth periods and report back if it goes above three seconds, which I consider to be the acceptable maximum (based on my configuration here).

I wish. But, no.

I have summer camp coverage part of this week and for the next two.

Once I am back, I think I can get our files sizes cut by 2/3's.

BTW, Optimist,

The wiki has been down for the last few hours. And is now, just now, back online. But, page loads are running in excess of 2 minutes!
