Wiki User Registration Open to registered Scouters and parents, only.

Wiki registration process...

Step 1) -- Register on MeritBadge.Net. -- This, you have done (since you can read this).
Step 2) -- Register on MeritBadge.Org. -- Signup here!

Notes:


1. You MUST USE THE SAME USERNAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS on both sites. (Passwords may be different.)
   
2. Do not advertise this to the world; please, only pass this info along to registered Scouters or parents. I do not want to be cleaning out hundreds of bogus registrations every day.
3. Do not register on the Wiki unless you actually plan to "edit" wiki pages. IOW, you don't have to "login" to see anything there--it's all there; it's all public. Now, if you're interested in learning how to wiki, then come on. It'll be fun.

To be allowed to create accounts in MeritBadgeDotOrg you have to log in and have the appropriate permissions.

I have been registered on the forums for quite a while. I tried clicking the link above, but it said I don't have permissions to create an account. Anyone know why?

When I click on the sign up for meritbadge.org it tells me I am not allowed to create an account. Why?

Realize I have no official capacity here.... The original post was from 2009. About the time the Wiki was created I think. They needed help getting content on it. Since then I think it has been closed to general registration.

I registered in order to be a good citizen of the community and help with the wiki. I'm a Wikipedia editor and so if I can help here, I'm happy to. I've found some updates of broken links to edit but I also can't seem to register with the wiki. Has there been any updates on getting access? I had a conversation with someone a few months ago and was told to first register here and then I could proceed to register as an editor. Now that I'm looping back I still don't seem to be able to figure it out.

Am searching for the method to register, or a Wiki Administrator to point me/us in the right direction to register. It looks like this has been a problem going on for a long time. There is great content on the Wiki, but a lot of dead links that need to be updated or removed too. Thanks for any current info or help.
